We only drove through Destin and stopped at the beach so I don't have a lot of information on Destin. Maybe someone else will post with some information. Dogs weren't allowed on the beach so we just walked along the walkway. The beach was beautiful. Have you tried bringfido.com to see if a hotel is dog friendly? I use it all the time when we travel. Have fun on your vacation.
