Default Introducing dog to new baby?

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've been on YT but I need some advice. DH and I are expecting our first (human) child in November. Our 3 year old Yorkie/Silky mix, Buster, can get very hyper and protective of me and DH at times (does not like certain people or other animals, especially large breed dogs) and people keep asking me what I am going to do with him when the baby comes. Honestly, it ticks me off because Buster is my first baby and the thought of re-homing him for any reason is unfathomable to me. So I tell them that it will be an adjustment for him too and I plan on working with him and teaching him right and wrong when it comes to the baby. I was wondering if you guys could share some advice/experiences on introducing your furbabies to your human babies. I think I'm worrying for nothing and that Buster will be curious about the new baby at first but ultimately acclimate to him, but I want all the advice/tips I can get so the transition can work for everyone! Thanks so much!
