Hello again. I just dropped my baby Chloe off at another vet that charged less for her to be hospitalized. She'll be on Intravenous fluids and will be given fluids subcutaneously. Ravens Keeper, as you've stated, yes, I found out that there is an incubation period of 7-10 days which means that she did get parvo before I got her. The vet that I went to this morning infomred me of a law stating that there has to be at least 2 weeks to give the puppy back if s/he's sick -- the pet shop only gave me 48 hours. Everything seems a mess right now because I want to make sure that Chloe is okay and getting all the care that she needs, while looking into this law that might turn into a possible lawsuit (I REALLY dont' want to go there though) and since I'm graduating from college a year early and this is my last semester, I need to study like no tomorrow =( But first thing's first -- I need to make sure that Chloe will make it through (the vet said that if the virus has spread to her heart, there is no way to cure her...)

PLEASE DOG OWNERS: WHEN YOU SEE THE FIRST SYMPTOMS OF YOUR YORKIE INACTIVE, LETHARGIC, HAVING DIARRHEA, VOMITING, WON'T EAT OR DRINK -------------- PLEASE GET THEM TESTED FOR PARVO EVEN IF THEY'VE BEEN VACCINATED! LITTLE PUPPIES ARE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO THIS TRULY NASTY VIRUS. YOUR DOGS DON'T DESERVE TO GO THROUGH SUCH A HARD HARD TIME, ULTIMATELY TAKING THEIR LIVES IF LEFT UNTREATED AND UNDETECTED.

ALSO, IF YOU'VE GOTTEN A DOG AT A BREEDER OR A PETSHOP AND YOU RECENTLY FOUND OUT (WITHIN 7-10 DAYS OF GETTING THEM) THAT THEY HAVE A VIRUS, LOOK INTO THE LAW ABOUT THIS... IT MIGHT JSUT BE A CALIFORNIA LAW AND I JUST HEARD ABOUT THIS SO I DON'T KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT THIS, BUT AS SOON AS I STUDY FOR MY QUIZ, I WILL BE SURE TO LOOK INTO IT.

thank you thank you ALL so much for all your concerns for my baby. You are alllll tooooo kind!
