Sandy, I am very sorry for your loss. Your mom was obviously a great parent to have raised a daughter who is intelligent, strong, kind and compassionate. I'm glad you and your brothers have many happy memories of her to share.
Saying goodbye to a parent is not easy at any age. I don't believe we are ever ready to let them go, as I saw with my dad and his mom who was in her 90s. Dad is 75 and still misses his mom, misses making her laugh.
