The cat and him still aren't friends yet. The cat leaves him alone, but Chester keep going right after him,.so we don't let them near each other yet.
The cat gave him a wack through the gate, and he went crying, we felt terrible, so not we put a sheet over the gate , so they can't see each other
At night when he sleeps in the master bathroom next to us, we don't do that, so he can see us
The cat will leave him alone all night and not go near him
It's during the day, when Chester's up, we gate the kitchen off
