Yup, that's what our Vet Derm gave us for local pyoderma spots to use. Though, you may want to try a generic cream if you have it bc it just might help a bit. Could also try some hydorcortisone cream in case it's just inflammation.

Oh, okay...he chews/licks paws...he has allergies then. Paw licking/chewing is the cardinal sign of allergies in dogs. Humans will sneeze, get runny eyes etc -- dogs' histamine response causes their paws to irritate them and they can't help but need to gnaw at them as it relieves some of the discomfort in the paws.

Btw, dogs w/ allergies VERY often have recurrent pyoderma, unfortunately. As you know, all skin issues are always 2ndary to something else -- either to allergies, or to some other disease state.
