I just looked at your other posts. Just wondering why is your 9 week old puppy on pills?
Given his age and size I'd try to use low fat low salt meats to give the pills first, like chicken breast or low fat hamburger cooked into a patty or meatball. Keep the pieces as small as you can.
I'd be afraid of the fat and salt in cheese and the salt in ham.
Same with liverwurst, I used it as a last resort for my poodle a few times, but it's really not good for dogs (fat, salt, spices) and would be horrible for a tiny puppy.
Pill pockets are great (I've never used them but a lot of people like them), but I think they'd be too big for a tiny puppy. I think petsmart and petco sell them.
