My little girl loves to stop and sniff things when we walk. Usually they can tell when another animal has been in a particular spot and they will stop to check it out. I let her sniff but after a minute or two tell her "let's go" and she will start walking again.

It's good that you are giving him the opportunity to walk and explore with you. Dogs just love getting out and checking things out and the exercise is really good for them.
Got it from a friend at 1 year old. We've had it for one month now. is it normal for them to walk like a bullet? like he walks like he is hunting something/someone and pulling me along.. how do i get him to walk with me as oppose to pull me.. it gets tiring if we go out for 30-45 minutes and being constantly pulled..
