LOL...yes, I am sure he is an adventurer...and their pads offer more protection than our skin does. But I watched two much larger dogs climb through the back slider window in the cab of a pickup because of heat under their pads in the bed of the truck. If he is not uncomfortable, it's probably not an issue...but I'd still watch because the heat will build up. Of course, I have lived in climates where the temperature can easily go over 100 F, so maybe I'm overly paranoid...
It's an 'at the time' decision, I think.
