I think how you raise your puppy has the most to do with it. Socializing them at a young age is so important. My puppy is 16 weeks old and she is teething, so we redirect her to chew toys when she starts trying to use our hands. We have company quite often, including toddlers and babies and she's totally fine around them. She's already learned to sit under their chair at the table when they are eating. LOL
Your puppy will learn the behaviors he/she can get away with, as they are pretty intelligent dogs. |
