My little girl, Ashley, lived to a month shy of seventeen. She was an active little girl up until a couple of days before she passed away. At close to eleven, my vet discovered Ashley had an enlarged heart most likely due to tracheal issues, since everything on her echocardiogram were within normal limits. At that point, my vet advised me not to do anymore shots. We walked miles each day, so she was exposed to other dogs, and Ashley did fine without her shots. I never gave any of my Yorkies Corona, Lepto, or Bordadella vaccines.
