I prefer a higher protein diet for canines, so I don't see anything that's "too high" for yorkies in what you're considering.
And yes, they can get everything they need in wet food. In fact, wet food is closer to being fresh than kibble - so there is that advantage. In add'n you're getting extra moisture which is never a bad thing. You could also mix the 2 together.
