 My sister grabbed Bella's tongue!!!
No, my sister is not a toddler, LOL! She is a retired nurse, and she visited my partner and I yesterday and met Bella for the first time. Bella is a very licky dog, and when she tried to lick my sister's hand, she said that's a bad habit, and told me that if you grab her tongue when she starts licking, Bella will learn to stop licking. So my sister grabbed Bella's tongue repeatedly, and Bella stopped licking her. Of course, Bella didn't want to come anywhere near my sister after that, LOL! So my question to the group is, is this a good way to teach a dog to stop licking, or is my sister just being a mean old bully? |
