Alprazolam - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia the first time I got it at the pharmacy the second time at her office. So far I have only used it for airplane rides, but I am going to give her a small dose before the fireworks show out in front of our house.

In regards to the Benadryl my comment was meant for the poster below you, I know you are very well informed but have no idea about the other gal. IMO I always think it is a good idea to check with the vet before trying a medicine
Actually, Benadryl is a must have OTC medicine that can be safely given to a pet if you notice any type of allergic reaction and could head off something much more serious. For example a bee sting will be greatly help if you give a dose of Benadryl to help with the histamine reaction.
