Trimming doesn't mean cutting the ears. Lol. It's giving the ears a hair cut. Just trimming the hair down a bit. So it wouldn't be an ouch. It's just a part of Yorkie grooming technique. But you're right about a Yorkie being cute either way. And yes the tapping is annoying an I wouldn't recommend it unless u do it within the first month. Before they become really active
