 Settling in nicely
So it has been now 2 weeks and Dutch is settling in nicely. She is a spunky little thing. She chases everything that moves, she is super smart and she is now using her potty pads a good 70% of the time. We are still working on her not chasing the cat as my cat doesn't like it. She is getting better, she is definitely controlling her urge to chase when it comes to the kitty.
She sleeps all night in her expen without making a sound. When she's potty pad trained 100% she will be able to sleep in bed with me. we went to the dog park the other day and she didn't stop running the entire time we were there. She was running full speed the whole time. She has so much energy which I love but she is wearing me down. We play fetch in the house or she is at the window trying to catch the squirrels. Luckily she knows how to keep herself occupied, I just have to find the right toy that will hold attention for longer than an hour or two. She is only two years old so I am guessing I have a few years before she calms down. |
