I understand how you feel, but it really worked great for us. We were out of the United States, so there was no way we could take him. Initially, Camp Bow Wow was an option, but found out some disturbing things about them. My mom was an option, but I would have to fly to FL with Ian, fly back to GA, fly 5 hours to get to our destination, fly back home....then back to FL to pick Ian up, then home again. It's great when you have family in the same state. I did say cage, but he was in a kennel, a large one. Ian was fine, I felt confident that he would be ok, and he was.
