My Bella's ears didn't stand up until she was finished teething, around 6 months of age. People do shave and tape ears up to try to get them to stay up, but I still haven't seen any controlled studies that prove that this works. People also suggest increasing the calcium intake a little by offering a little cottage cheese each day. If it were me, I wouldn't submit Emma to the annoyance and irritation that taping the ears would cause, and I would love her no matter how her ears turned out.
