Omg...you made me cry this morning...the retired show dog poem is sooo sad! It's like a reflection of how we treat the elderly...as if they have nothing to contribute and deserve only a cursory aknowledgement. Everyone should pet every old dog they see today and say hello to any elderly people they see on the street!
