I use them *shrugs* I'm not too worried about a once-a-day treat that isn't the majority portion of his diet, and I honestly feel they DO help his teeth a bit. Not a lot, but they seem to freshen his breath after he eats them. He really loves them, too. My dads dog has horrid breath and definitely needs a dental (good luck convincing them to get her in to do it though!
) and the Dentastix definitely improve her breath when I give her them.
I use the Get Naked small chews too but the larger ones, he won't eat, he just carries them around and whines looking for a place to bury them. LOL... I just tried these new Milkbone dental chews too but he doesn't seem to like them as much. But they were approved and proven to reduce tarter by the VOHC.
