Just wanted to mention that Madan brushes are not like any other brush. It's designed by a National Show Judge. It's designed for long haired or full coated breeds & it's not like a plastic brush or comb that you can get @ a beauty supply store. I have a cheap plastic $1 comb from a beauty supply store & it doesn't even compare, the Madan steel tail comb is far superior.

That makes two of us. The wood pins caused static cling in the winter. I like the apple green madan brush for a cotton coat, it works just fine and I've had the cotton coat to the floor. Comparing madan to dollar store is like comparing a BMW to a Kia.
