I am currently feeding JAX Royal Canine for Yorkshire terrier's, and since he was diagnosed with a mild liver shunt, he takes Lactolose twice a day. I thought maybe Blue Buffalo being All Natural and Holistic might be a better diet choice?
He has not shown much for syptoms ( except for excessive digging on the couch now and then) for over a month now since giving medicine and cutting out extra protein in his diet..
I am looking into having an ultrasound and a consult to see if surgery is a good option.

Have you discussed foods with your vet? I thought BB was high in protein. And if you are trying to cut out excess protein you may need to look at different options. There should be a food your vet can recommend.
