Welcome, what a beautiful picture.
I also brought my baby home to an older cat sibling, and I too never thought they would be friends, let alone go near each other.. well, Bailey will be 2 in June, and just in the last 2 months, they started playing together, NOT all the time but usually once a night before bedtime, and they can both sleep in the big bed together now, Toto (cat) on my pillow on my head,and Bailey smack up against my side, So there is hope, I never would have believed it before, but I'm a believer now, took a year and a half but I'm thrilled, especially if it gets better.
