I'd take it as a neutral comment, your baby is perfect.
Before Lola I had 2 poodles, one was very tall and thin (think greyhound) and the other was very short and sturdy (think bull dog). The funny thing is they were littermates. I prefer the tall and thin look, although my poodle was a bit extreme.
Lola is somewhere between the two. She's much closer to breed standard than most of the yorkies I see locally and a lot of people question her height and other aspects of her look and ask what breed she is. I try not to take their comments personally.
