Try not to worry. Anesthesia effects can take a while to clear the system via the liver. All my kiddos were very sleepy the 1st night, and then pretty much snapped back after that. You'll be surprised. Make sure you give the pain med, even if you don't see pain...you want to stay ahead of the pain for him, and remember, dogs mask pain very well.
