We had it repaired during her spay. The cost was $100 on top of the spay. Since the repair, we have had no other issues relating to the hernia

Knowing what I know now, I probably would have gotten it repaired by a specialist as Lady Jane suggested. Which, obviously, would be a bit more costly.
