Have 2 yorkie poos, brother who reverse sneezes several times or more a week and his sister that had only done it once or twice before today.

Today my wife said she was tearing apart their new 36" crate pad that is thin and looks like lambs wool but isn't. I don't think she got that much but since I've been home and earlier today she is reverse sneezing a LOT. Right now she is quiet but it was every several seconds earlier.

I've read to lightly massage their throat and hold their nostril closed or gently hold it or put fingers under their ribs to stop (I tried that last one), but we are thinking of taking her to the vet in the morning. Is that the right thing to do? It just isn't normal. It doesn't sound like tracheal collapse- it is just like her brother's reverse sneeze- just frequent. At one point she acted like she would throw up but didn't.
