 When should I spay?
Hi,
I don't post too much on here, but I browse the forum frequently. I have a 7 month pup that I am going to get spayed. My question is when should I do it? I have researched a lot and have read that waiting until after the first heat has benefits, but also before their first heat is recommended. We have one other female yorkie who is spayed and Gracie (7 month pup) is never let out of my sight outside of the house. What's your opinion, is it better to wait until after her first heat or go ahead and get her spayed before her first heat? She is about 5.5 lbs right now. Thanks!
