The vet told me at her 7 yr check up that because of the space it caused all her teeth to be loose in the front. The rest of her teeth are in great shape very minimal tartar or plaque and no dental is needed for her right now. My concern would be waiting too much longer for Chloe's spay and leaving a gap. Also, you are asking about teething toys but the issue with Chloe would not be teeth that she uses to chew. Dogs use their back teeth not front teeth where she still has those pesky baby teeth. |

I think Jackson's tooth got messed up by a retained baby tooth being in his mouth too long, wedged in with his permanent bottom canine tooth. I waited too long to get them removed. He ended up having 4 baby teeth retained that needed to be removed. Anyway, that bottom canine tooth was the one that needed to be shaved down/have surgery on at 3yrs old because it was turned in such a way that it was poking his gums.
