This entire thread is EXACTLY why spay and neuter is so important for the overall good of the pet population. People in general are just irresponsible when it comes to ownership and responsibility. It seems we all know of these types of pet owners. Their are the ones that let their animals roam, tie them outside, breed, ignore their vetting need, decide they are not pet people and dump them or even worse. It's the reason that vets push to spay and neuter by 5 months before their first heat for females~~because the puppy is still a cute and loved, they are bring them in for vaccines and well visit. So they try to capture the opportunity to alter the animals before they begin breeding, roaming and never return for basic vetting. OK......sorry off my rant
