I would discuss this with your vet. Each vet will recommend what they think is best. My Rosie does have IBS. So tummy noises mean trouble for us. My vet recommended plain no sugar added yogurt once a day instead of probiotics. Therefore I would discuss us with your vet.
If your baby is constantly having tummy noises, I would be concerned and take him in. In my opinion, something is upsetting it and the problem needs to be resolved. Your vet will be your best option since you don't know what is causing the problem.
Ask your vet about using the Pepto as well.
