I am hoping this hasn't caused pancreatitis. It might have.

Teddy had a big lump on his back last year that I'm convinced was a spider bite. The vet put him on a steroid and a topical spray. Took about a month for the lump to go away.
A friend's Yorkie girl was stung by 2 - 3 yellow jackets last week. She had Benadryl the first day and appeared to be fine, but then was having leg spasms and severe itchiness. The vet advised continuing the Benadryl and the spasms stopped.
I want the injectable Benadryl to carry with us. In the meantime, I'll take our liquid to the park with us. |
I love having the inj., but the only reason I have it is bc Ellie gets those scary, near death reactions. Never thought I'd have to use it for hives! We still ended up needing to go in for dex, but it can buy time and is so much peace of mind. At the very least I think ppl should have liquid on hand in case pup can't swallow.
