 tummy noises
A few times a month, Domo's tummy will make the gurgling sounds I've read so much about on here. I read that it can be gas, pancreatic issues, digestive problems, IBS, etc. etc. Right now, he's just lying on me, sleeping, and his tummy is having a conversation lol.
One time this got really really bad so I gave him a tiny bit of pepto and he seemed to feel much better shortly after. I only gave that once because there is the debate as to whether or not pepto contains aspirin, but ...nevertheless, it worked that one time. I'm not giving it today since I can't tell if he's in pain or not.
I feed Acana Wild Prarie and 1-2 a week Blue Wilderness Chicken and Turkey for a wet food treat, both are grain free. The treats he gets are either blue buffalo or wilderness, with an occasional bully stick.
I read that yogurt and/or probiotics can be a good addition to his diet. Can anyone recommend and specific probiotics? I've also ordered some Dasaquin joint supplements to help with his LP. |
