 Sick Puppy Help
Hi, I have a yorkie pup that is almost 6 months old. Recently (since Sunday) she has been either vomiting or regurgitating after every meal. We only feed her twice a day but, for about a week, we have been having trouble getting her to eat after we bought her a new bag of dog food, which was the same brand but a different flavor. When we switched back to her old flavor today, we had no trouble getting her to eat but she still vomited. She has been behaving normally before and after each time she vomits. All other bathroom habits have been normal and she is still hyper and playful. We are first time dog owners and up to this point we haven't had any problems with our pup and we plan on calling our vet tomorrow. Any advice as to how to keep her healthy until we can get her an appointment would be appreciated. I understand that sometimes switching foods can cause some sickness but is it normal for her to be vomiting this much? Thanks. |
