Do you have outdoor metal pieces and if so, what do you do to prevent rust? I don't want to paint it w/ rust proof paint bc I don't want it colored. I wonder if Rustoleum's Rust Inhibitor spray would work? Anyone use it or have any advice? Maybe I should've stuck w/ wood, darn. |
I use clear acrilyc sealer on ALL my crafty things, indoor and outdoor. (Photos too) I generally use plaid, krylon and modge podge brands with about the same results, I have used rustoleum but I'm not a fan of that one. It seemed to run on me, but I will say, I am impatient and try to do too much at once so it could be me. I prefer matte finish but that's a personal preference. I don't know if it would totally prevent rust, but it would surely help, and I think you could retreat a couple times a year.
