Two weeks ago we had a flower/plant ingestion incident (dried parts missed while sweeping) leading to severe vomiting (which is good because otherwise we would have had cyanide poisoning). Hydrangeas are, in fact, toxic!

Today we have a severe allergic reaction to..something. It was likely a bug...in the house. My girl has been going absolutely crazy scratching and trying to run from the itch since midnight. She is also vomiting. Benadryl injection only gave good relief for about an hour. The steroid is helping now...somewhat. And she was already on oral steroids for her back. Whatever it is, it is very severe.
This comes almost exactly two years after we almost lost her over a different type of reaction to a bug.

Please, please, please be careful.
Always have Benadryl on hand with dosage along woth dorections to the ER. Check on your pups constantly.
