 I'm afraid I lost my puppy's trust
His name is Maui. He's 13 weeks old. I love him.
Today we were playing with a rope toy. I was dragging it along the floor while he was chasing it, sometimes letting him catch it. I was sitting on a pillow and when he caught the rope he must've bit the pillow too because I pulled the rope and he screamed really loud. Right after it happened he let go, walked around really fast and wagged his tail. I cradled him a little bit then he jumped off my lap, I tried to play with him again but he just went into his kennel. :-( would this make him lose his trust in me? Am I overacting? He's my first dog, all mine, I don't want to ruin this. |
