It is amazing how in tune our pets are with us and how smart they are.
My doggies are equally bonded with me and my father. When dad was in the hospital for a week, Max and Teddy were very accommodating and did not beg for their regular activities, like trips to the park. When dad did return, the doggies did not jump and give kisses. They simply pressed their cheeks against his legs to welcome him home.
