i call romeo the squirrel patrol. he is obsessed. the first thing he does in the morning is hop up in his window seat and looks for squirrels. he barks and chases them from window to window inside. i used to think it was sooo cute. now he just wakes me up everyday barking at squirrels. he used to run around my yard chasing them everyday. he can't play out there anymore because of an owl that moved in. we had a very close call with an owl attack on him and me. he used to try to chase them up the trees. it was adorable. maybe he can chase them again one day. i need to find a way to owl proof my yard. i know he really misses his playtime in the yard. now he just gets walks. owls suck.
