 How do they know?
I very rarely stay away from home these days, but was compelled to a few days back, following a bad dose of Salmonella poisoning. I was cared for by nearby friends and eventually arrived back a good deal thinner, two days later. Crystal refused to sleep with with my wife and was very restive the whole time I was gone apparently? She either stayed marooned on my bed with an old sock for company, or lay across the entrance to the flat barking every time the elevator started up or down and barely ate anything. She hasn't left me all day and insists on being as close as possible (as you can see she still looks worried) - how do they know? |
