I have insurance. I went with Pets Best. They have the option to pay the vet directly if anything happens and I do also have the wellness option.
Each company offers different things and different price points. If you do a search on the site you'll find lots of reviews. I'm pleased thus far with Pets Best.
I do think insurance is worth it if you start with a young animal.
