*sigh* I just started reading up on giving ice to dogs to chew on, and the majority consensus of the articles is that it is dangerous to give dogs ice to chew on because it can break teeth. I can't find any research articles on it, but advice columns written by veterinarians say that they have seen cases where dogs have cracked or chipped their teeth by chewing on ice cubes. Now I'll have to find a new "candy" for Bella to chew on, and I'll have to say "no" to her while she constantly stares at my glasses of cold beverages, waiting for me to finishing drinking so she can get the ice cubes .
