There are many other things to consider too in getting a second dog. It gets a little harder to take 2 with you, yet it seems easier to leave them home when they have company and are not alone. Of course cost of vets, grooming, food and monthly flea and heartworm prevention doubles too, so be prepared for that. |
It's kind of hard to judge by how the act with other dogs because my Maltese goes insane around other dogs and did the same when I got my yorkie. But after about a week she started to come around. And now they love each other to pieces
