After a night without much sleep, I will be able to visit Harley at 9:00 AM. I watched the clock all night long, thankful for every hour that went by without the phone ringing with bad news. I am so grateful that Harley made it through the night, and so hopeful that this morning brings some sort of good news. My daughter, who is a human ER dr, has been next to me every step of the way, explaining all that they are doing and sweet Linda (LadyJane) has been my "go to" Yorkie consult for the last 24 hours offering moral and positive support. Hopefully his blood sugars have stabilized and they did not have to put in a central line. They will not even try to reintroduce food for a few days because Harley is so critical at this point. I am still amazed at how quickly this all happened. I will try to update after our morning visit - please continue to pray for Harley. I am so very grateful for your continued prayers. |
