My sweet 9 month old yorkie is very calm at home, but anytime anyone comes over or I take her for a walk outside (We live in NYC).

When our housekeeper comes over, she won't leave her alone, or when delivery men come to the door, she attempts to run out of our apartment to greet them, and when we're out walking on the street in the city she is so excited she attempts to run up to everyone on the street to greet them.

I'm thrilled that she's so friendly, BUT... I realize it's a bit too much when it comes to other people.

I continually apologize for her over excitement and friendly nature, and I'm sure some people suspect I'm just a bad puppy mom who doesn't manage her puppy's behavior.

Any advice? Suggestions? Help?
