Bogey is my only one with hair long enough for a topknot. He's usually only in a pony holder and not a bow too. Sometimes at night I will let his hair down while he's sleeping to give his head a rest but usually it's up all the time. When I do use a bow it has a clip on the back and only gets clipped to the front of his hair. If I try to use a bow with a band on the back it would never stay. So it's ponyholder and bow with clip for us. But this way I don't need to mess with it more than once a day because it stays up really well.
