 Starting on Frontline Plus
After researching topical flea treatments, I decided to go with Frontline Plus. We have a 4lb 15month old Yorkie that has never been on any preventative. This year, we seem to be seeing a half dozen fleas a week on her, so I want to start her on something to keep her from scratching so bad. We have outside dogs and I think the ones that are appearing on her get brought in on our clothes. At least that is all I can figure anyway. She never goes outside in the yard and the outside dogs never come inside.
The product I bought is for "up to 22Lbs". At 1/5 the weight of the dosage available, how much should I give her that would be safe. Normally, being an ER nurse, I would dose it per weight with 22lbs being 100% of the product and going from there. I do not want to make her sick. I have not had an inside dog since I was a kid 30+ yrs ago.
