You might just want to free feed as dogs who grow up free feeding will often self-regulate for life since they learn the behavior young. Very convenient. The only downside I see to it is there have been choking incidents with yorkies and kibble -- it can happen; so I don't know how you feel about that possibility. Many people here still free feed and their kiddos do fine, but just wanted to mention it.
