Be careful of squirrels around dogs and cats, our vet told us that the enzymes from a squirrels teeth and mouth can make domestic pets quite sick. Our friends cat got bit by a squirrel and a large cist formed around the bite area and had she not taken her to the vet promptly the vet said that there was a good possibility she could have died from the bite.
