  Gosh, thanks for all your quick replies and concerns. After reading the first two posts (and a PM) stating that I should take her to a vet immediately, I did. The nurse checked to see whether she's stable and he told me that she was (stable breathing, etc) so her life isn't at an immediate threat, which was a huge relief for me. If Chloe's breathing gets slower, then I'd have to check her into emergency care right away but for now, she's stable and will be fine for a while. The tricky thing is that I have to FEED her somehow. She won't take anything in -- throws up immediately. So my challenge will be to try to keep her hydrated as much as possible and to keep her blood sugar level more or less stabalized. Thanks again for all your help. I'll keep you posted.  |
